In addition to Nittedal, 11 other teams played in J17 - født etter 1.1.2002. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Nittedal 04 could be found in Group A together with Birkebeineren, IF, Skedsmo and Kragerø IF Fotball.

Nittedal 04 continued to Slutspel A after reaching 3:rd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lillestrøm LSK J17 with 4-6. In the Final, Lillestrøm LSK J17 won over Kolbotn IL 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in J17 - født etter 1.1.2002.
